A Burton Mad Tea-Party

While watching Tim Burton's Alice movie, this short scene of 7-year old Alice from the original books completely inspired me the moment I saw it. It was like time stood still for a while when I saw it, even though it lasted like 1-2 seconds. I absolutely loved it.

The only problem is that it's practically impossible to find a picture of 7-year old (6 years old in film version?) Burton Alice on the internet. However, yesterday I stumbled upon it finally so I decided to try to draw humans for once. Love the Alice they chose for some reason.

I dunno, humans are hard to draw. However, Burton has a very strange style anyway, so I decided to start going with it by not even trying to make straight lines anymore. XP

This is probably the longest drawing I ever did. Took quite a few hours and I had to do research for everything. The table, the Hatter's design, the March Hare's design (SPOON, lolz), and the Dormouse's. Of course, as mentioned earlier, it took the longest to find Alice's design.

Of course, I can't get it exactly as it originally was since I couldn't find the finished version of it anywhere. I might revisit this when I get better anyway.

btw, quite a few visual contradictions, but then again, I'm basing this off of Burton's version.
